Ridge Footwear held a fundraiser Wednesday at the company’s SHOT Show booth to benefit Cops Helping Cops. The not-for-profit organization raises money to help rebuild the homes and lives of officers affected by devastating natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina.
Between 3:00 and 5:00 Wednesday, attendees to the SHOT Show in Las Vegas who donated a minimum of $5 to Cops Helping Cops received a limited edition commemorative glass filled with Sierra Nevada beer, on tap at the Ridge booth.
The footwear company had been looking for a group to donate to, and was inspired by the event Shot in the Dark Vegas 2017 that also took place Wednesday, for which Ridge donated products to be raffled off. Shot in the Dark Vegas 2017 is a joint Military and Law Enforcement community fundraiser to raise money in support of Operation 300, Cops Helping Cops and The American Legion. Ridge saw its fundraiser for Cops Helping Cops in its booth as an additional opportunity to help law enforcement officers.
Warriors Heart works closely with federal and community partners to expand treatment options for veterans and first responders. By combining specialized clinical care with a peer-driven recovery environment, the program helps warriors rebuild strength, restore relationships, and rediscover purpose.
