An officer with the Chicago Police Department was off duty in her personally owned vehicle when she was approached by an assailant armed with a gun, who demanded that she exit the car.

According to NBC News, police say the female officer—whose name has not been released—complied and got out of the vehicle on Wednesday night. The gunman then fled in the car.

The officer was not physically harmed in the incident.

The suspect is still at large.
