A California man was arrested for impersonating a police officer after he misrepresented himself in hopes of getting a free haircut late last week.

According to ABC News, the man—identified as 25-year-old Brandon Joseph Vielkind—reportedly walked into an establishment wearing clothing and gear that made him look like a law enforcement officer, including a tactical vest, hat, and badge.

He then reportedly requested a free haircut, and then began behaving erratically.

Police were called, and Vielkind was taken into custody. He was later released on $50,000 bail.
