An officer with the Pittsburg (TX) Police Department has died following a fight with stage 4 cancer.

The agency posted on Facebook, "It is with deep regrets that we have to announce the passing of Robin Molloy this morning. Robin served our community as an officer for the PISD Police Department. We chose this photo as we felt it represents her the best: the way she loved her kids and that smile that was always there."

Officer Molloy served as a school safety officer. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in May.
