2 Officers Injured in Shooting in Baltimore

Two officers working in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals were reported to be injured in a shooting in Baltimore on Wednesday, and a suspect is said to be dead following a confrontation.

Two officers working in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals were reported to be injured in a shooting in Baltimore on Wednesday, and a suspect is said to be dead following a confrontation.

According to the Baltimore Sun, the shooting occurred early Wednesday as the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force was working on an attempted murder warrant.

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan's office confirms that the two injured officers are a Baltimore city and Baltimore County police officer

One officer is said to have been struck in the leg and the other in the abdomen.

Both were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries described as non-life-threatening.
