Officers with the East Brunswick (NJ) Police Department visited with a nine-year-old boy battling a rare form of cancer over the weekend.

The agency posted an image on Facebook letting the community know that nine-year-old Brody has been receiving treatment in nearby New Brunswick and had mentioned to his mom that he would love to meet a policeman and see a police car.

The agency said in its social media post, "East Brunswick Police Officers Adi Wanounou, Paul Jun and John Sisolak immediately responded to grant his wish. They spent time together with Brody, letting him see their patrol cars and play with the sirens."

The post concluded, "Brody, the East Brunswick Police Department has your back in this fight!"
