Chicago Police Shoot, Kill Kidnapping Suspect

An off-duty officer with the Chicago Police Department on Monday morning encountered a male victim and female victim handcuffed together saying they had been kidnapped.

An off-duty officer with the Chicago Police Department on Monday morning encountered a male victim and female victim handcuffed together saying they had been kidnapped.

According to ABC News, the off-duty officer called police, and uniformed officers responded to the apartment complex where the suspect was located.

A confrontation ensued, and the subject was shot and killed. The off-duty officer reportedly did not fire the fatal shot.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital where he subsequently died.
