A man is dead after reportedly leading Texas police on a vehicle pursuit and ramming several police vehicles on Monday.

According to KRGV-TV, officers with the Brownsville Police Department were forced to open fire on the man, who was fatally struck.

The suspect—identified as 20-year-old Mark Anthony Galvan—was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.
