New York City police officers arrested 68 Occupy protesters, who returned to Zuccotti Park in New York City and pulled down police barricades to celebrate New Year's.

New York City police officers arrested 68 Occupy protesters, who returned to Zuccotti Park in New York City and pulled down police barricades to celebrate New Year's.

Most of the arrests were for disorderly conduct. Zachary Miller, 28, was arrested for allegedly stabbing an officer with a pair of scissors, reports the New York Daily News.

The event was also marked by a Twitter tirade from actress Ellen Barkin, who has vocally supported the Occupy movement. The companion of the actress filmed a 24-second video of an NYPD officer shoving Barkin.
