Philly Cop Struck By Partner's Bullet
A Philadelphia Police officer was wounded late Tuesday by a ricochet from a shotgun round fired by his partner during a vehicle stop. Jose Roman, a 44-year-old SWAT officer, had the wind knocked out of him when he was hit, but recovered and handcuffed a suspect.

Jose Roman, a 44-year-old SWAT officer, had the wind knocked out of him when he was hit, but recovered and handcuffed a suspect. He was wearing his ballistic vest. Roman is in stable condition at Hahnemann University Hospital, reports NBC10.
The shooting occurred at a North Philadelphia gas station. The officers had located a white Chevy Impala with three men. The officers ordered the men to raise their hands. Instead, one of the men drew a gun and Roman's partner fired, hitting one of the suspects, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.
