Louisiana Officer Killed in Crash During High-Speed Chase

Louisiana State Police reported Officer Juandre Gilliam of the Jeanerette Police Department died during an apparent high speed chase. He had only been on the force for two years and just graduated from the police academy last month.

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a Louisiana police officer Tuesday night.

Louisiana State Police reported Officer Juandre Gilliam of the Jeanerette Police Department died during an apparent high speed chase. He had only been on the force for two years and just graduated from the police academy last month.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the chase. Charges are pending, KPTV reports.
