China's DJI currently hold a more than 75% share of the U.S. drone market for both consumer and professional operations, TechCrunch reports.
DJI is one of dozens of companies that the U.S. says is closely linked to the Chinese government that was added to the list.
The company was likely added to the entity list because its products are reportedly used in China's widespread domestic surveillance programs.
There have long been concerns that data compiled by DJI drones flying in the U.S. is accessible by the Chinese government and the Chinese military.
