NY Man Dies After Catching Fire from Combination of Spraying Self with Hand Sanitizer and Officer's ECW Use

A 29-year-old Catskill, NY, man who caught fire after he was tased by an officer inside the village police building has died, prompting the New York attorney general’s Office of Special Investigation to launch an investigation.

Jason Jones, who had been hospitalized since the Oct. 30 incident, died Wednesday, according to Attorney General Letitia James’ office.
