Officers with the Bath (NY) Police Department were visited  by a six-year-old girl who wanted to give thanks to them for their service to the community, and give to them some tokens of appreciation she made by hand.

The agency posted pictures on its Facebook page of gifts from six-year-old Kendelle Reed.

The gifts shared messages such as "Be Safe," "Be Strong," and "Be United."

The agency said in its social media post, "All of the members of the Bath Village Police Department would like to thank 6-year-old Kendelle Reed for her thoughtful handmade gifts that she made for all of us as a thank you!"
