Two officers with the Indianapolis Police Department are facing multiple criminal charges after a confrontation with two women at a protest following the death of George Floyd.
According to the New York Times, the officers were seen on video striking one woman and shoving another to the ground in Indianapolis in late May.

Ryan Mears—the prosecutor for Marion County—said in a statement that the two women involved in the incident were Ivoré Westfield and Rachel Harding.
The officers charged were identified in court documents as Jonathan Horlock and Nathaniel Schauwecker.
Horlock was charged with battery, battery resulting in moderate injury, battery resulting in bodily injury, perjury, obstruction of justice, and official misconduct. Schauwecker was charged with battery, battery resulting in moderate injury, two counts of battery resulting in bodily injury, and two counts of official misconduct.
Both officers have been placed on paid administrative duty.
