An officer with the Toledo Police Department suffered minor injuries when his patrol vehicle was struck by another car that had spun out of control on Tuesday night.

According to the Toledo Blade, Sergeant Michael Schwanbeck was sitting in his squad car when the second vehicle in a two-car collision spun sideways and struck his driver's side door.

Schwanbeck was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released.

The condition of the other two drivers—identified as Richard Halker and Matthew Pseifer—was not made available.
