Border Patrol Agent Dies on Duty in Arizona

According to Tucson Sector Border Patrol, Agent Robert Hotten, 44, was located by fellow agents near Mount Washington, south of Patagonia.

A U.S. Border Patrol agent died Sunday after being found unresponsive while on patrol, officials confirmed.

According to Tucson Sector Border Patrol, Agent Robert Hotten, 44, was located by fellow agents near Mount Washington, south of Patagonia.

Responding agents provided initial medical care until a medivac helicopter could airlift Agent Hotten for transport to an awaiting ambulance, officials told KVOA.
