An officer with the Orlando Police Department is lucky to be alive after he was dragged by a fleeing vehicle at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour.

According to CBS News, Officer Sean Murphy conducted a traffic stop on a car reportedly driven by 25-year-old Zavier Askew and during the stop recognized signs of marijuana in the car.

Body camera footage shows the interaction between the two as the driver sped on and the officer held on for dear life.

The incident ended when Askew allegedly crashed into a parked car.

Askew faces several charges including Attempted First Degree Murder of a law enforcement officer and Kidnapping.
