Non-profit Organization Donates Armor Packages to Alabama Agency

The Christian-based organization was moved by the lip-sync video released on social media last summer in which the department's chief of police was seen performing a Christian song.

The non-profit Shield616 has donated armor packages consisting of a trauma kit, a ballistic helmet, a plate carrier vest, and pouches with rifle rated armor to every officer with the Hollywood (AL) Police Department.

According to WHNT-TV, the Christian-based organization was moved by the lip-sync video released on social media last summer in which the department's chief of police was seen performing a Christian song.

In the video, Chief Jason Hepler and K9 Fox perform a rendition of MercyMe's "I Can Only Imagine."

"They're a Christian-based organization, and I guess when they saw our Christian-based lip sync video they reached out to us, so I guess it touched something for them," Hepler told WHNT.
