NYPD Quizzing Officers About Their Jobs

The NYPD command staff has sent out a questionnaire for officers to anonymously answer about their job knowledge.

A survey sent out by NYPD brass quizzes cops about their jobs and lets them answer anonymously.

The 33-question questionnaire, obtained by the Daily News, is part of Police Commissioner Bill Bratton’s Reengineering 2014 Initiative, a letter attached to the test states.

In one section, the voluntary survey asks cops what they do when they’re unsure how to handle a situation.

“How often do you turn to the following sources for guidance?”

The survey asks them if they consult with various superiors, training guides or fellow officers. It then offers them a final option: “I don’t, I wing it.”
