Mexican Drug Lord's Daughter Arrested Crossing the Border

Alejandrina Gisselle Guzman Salazar, a Mexican national, told customs officials at the San Ysidro border crossing on Friday that she was traveling to Los Angeles to give birth.

U.S. authorities arrested Sinaloa Cartel leader Joaquin "Chapo" Guzman's daughter, after she attempted to cross the border with fraudulant documents.

Alejandrina Gisselle Guzman Salazar, a Mexican national, told customs officials at the San Ysidro border crossing on Friday that she was traveling to Los Angeles to give birth.

The customs officer detected the counterfeit U.S. visa that was in her Mexican passport and her true identity was confirmed later through a check of her fingerprints. Guzman Salazar is the daughter of Maria Alejandrina Salazar Hernandez, Guzman's first wife, reports the Los Angeles Times.
