Cintas Grant Program to Provide Police with AEDs

Cintas has established the ReviveR Provider Police Grant Program to give automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to police agencies.

Officers are often the first to arrive on the scene of a sudden cardiac arrest. If first responders have AEDs available to use before an ambulance arrives, they can often save a person’s life.

Police departments across the country are eligible to apply directly for the grant online at the program’s Website. Four times a year, a department will be selected to receive four AEDs along with associated AED training from the American Heart Association. Through a civic underwriting program, qualifying non-profit and civic organizations interested in purchasing AEDs to present to local police departments can apply for special financing support.
