LDV's new S-Series mobile command center (MCC) will be on display at booth 1381, and will feature sections left in the early stages of construction so visitors can see exposed walls, metal fabrication and wiring.
"This behind-the-scenes look at our new S-Series MCC will help our customers see the design integrity structural elements and craftsmanship that make LDV the most successful manufacturer in the industry with the highest quality standards," said Mary Lynch of LDV's marketing and sales development.
The S-Series MCC is built on a Freightliner chassis with a 40-foot aluminum van body. Its design is packed with the most options requested by customers, including an impressive list of available equipment upgrades that can be installed and delivered in less than 30 days.
"Our team of engineers, tech experts, fabricators and senior sales personnel worked together to design and build the best in-stock vehicle to meet customer requirements now and into the future, and to deliver it at an affordable price," said Lynch in a statement.
The S-Series MCC comes standard with LDV's exclusive Intel-I-Touch vehicle management system, including Intel-I-Touch controls operating systems at the touch of a single button. Built-in start-up and shut down ensure proper deployment sequences and reduce deployment time by up to 70 percent. All wiring follows military specifications and is run through plastic conduit and raceways to simplify repairs and upgrades.
