Michigan Vehicle Tests In Pictures
The Michigan State Police tested 2012 model-year patrol vehicles at this year's tests in mid-September. State troopers assigned to the Precision Driving Unit tested vehicles submitted by Chrysler/Dodge, Ford, General Motors/Chevrolet, BMW, Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki, and Victory Motorcycles. Mass. City Adds QR Codes to Cruisers for Smartphone Scans
The Stoughton (Mass.) Police Department is affixing QR codes on each front fender of its police cruisers, according to the department's website. QR codes are black and white images that users can scan with a smartphone.

Ga. Sheriff and Iowa PD Purchase Caprice PPVs
The Forsyth County (Ga.) Sheriff Department plans to replace its current fleet of 175 patrol vehicles with Chevrolet Caprice PPV patrol vehicles, according to a news release from General Motors.
