The Hammerspike is a breaching tool from Shieldspike that's designed to break the glass of vehicles and structures. It was created for use by first responders and tactical teams for rescue and other situations. Unlike heavier breaching tools that require two hands to operate and weren't made to efficiently break sturdy glass, the Hammerspike weighs just over a pound, making it easy to seamlessly integrate the use of a ballistic shield during breaching. It can be carried by itself or mounted onto existing shields using a proprietary kydex mounting bracket.
