A North Carolina police lieutenant chose to mow the lawn of an elderly citizen recently.

The Wadesboro Police Department reports on Facebook that Lt. Steven Kelly mowed the lawn of the elderly citizen because the citizen could not do so in the heat.

“This was no surprise to us because Lt. Kelly always goes above and beyond to help those in need. We are proud to say the Town of Wadesboro is a better place because of Lt. Kelly,” the department said.
