Electrifying general fleet vehicles is one thing. Electrifying police vehicles is an entirely different beast. With many local and state governments under mandates to electrify, law enforcement fleet managers are left wondering about the best approach to take when transitioning their fleets to electric vehicles. At the 2023  Police Fleet Conference  (PFC), learn from fellow fleet managers about this process.

In  Electrifying Patrol Fleets: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly , attendees will learn about police fleet electrification. Speakers will share about the successes and challenges fleet managers can run into during this process. The session will focus on what fleet managers must keep in mind during this transition to EVs — including battery best practices, upfitting EVs, and preparing technicians to work on these vehicles with new technology under the hood.
