Parent Company of Jotto Desk Celebrates 40th Anniversary
Assembled Products Corporation now comprises three separate brands: Mart Cart, makers of electronic shopping carts; Spray Master Technologies, makers of central pressure washer systems; and Jotto Desk, makers of products for outfitting police vehicles.
Assembled Products Corporation (APC), parent of police fleet equipment supplier Jotto Desk, is marking its 40th anniversary this month. The company is celebrating its four decades in business with a celebration and look back at its history August 30, 2023, at the Metroplex Event Center in Rogers, AR.
APC’s history starts in 1983 with founder Bill Sage’s production of a mobility scooter for commercial shopping use. That first Mart Cart was sold to Chester’s Market in Connecticut. Sage developed the Mart Cart to help an elderly family member remain active and able to shop for groceries.
"What began with one motorized shopping cart has turned into four decades of manufacturing excellence and innovation," said APC President and CEO Erin Kiefer. "This 40-year mark isn't just about the products we've built and sold. It's also about thanking the Lord for what he’s brought us through and applauding more than 140 employees who have helped build us and who will take us into our future as we continue to develop products and services for our many customers."
