Kussmaul Electronics has introduced the Battery Saver Low Ripple HO (Model 091-195-12) power pack with a load transfer relay that reduces the electrical load on police vehicle electronics, according to the company.
The device, which would be connected to a patrol car's MDT or computer, provide low ripple D.C. power to ensure no interference while powering electronic equipment.
Inputs accept 12-volt vehicle current and120-volt A.C. shore power for maritime uses. The device weighs 5 pounds and arrives with a three-year warranty.
