Ford Motor Co. recalled nearly 20,000 2013 model-year Police Interceptor sedan and Utility vehicles Tuesday, after receiving complaints about fuel tank leaks that pose a fire risk, the automaker told PoliceMag.com.
The automaker recalled 8,384 P.I. sedans and 11,517 P.I. Utility vehicles that were built at Ford's Chicago assembly plant. The recall affects sedans built between Aug. 31, 2011 and Jan. 10, 2013 and Utility vehicles built between Aug. 25, 2011 and Dec. 21, 2012.
