Brooking Industries Introduces Rear Hatch Pod for 2015 Chevy Tahoe

Brooking Industries' new ABS pod for the 2015 Chevy Tahoe accommodates an 8-head RayZR light stick and up to four popular ST6 surface mount light heads. The RayZR mounts in a fitted shelf while the ST6s mount on the sides at a 30-degree angle, providing optimum off-axis/intersection coverage.

For those of you concerned about officer safety when the hatch is open, click on this link for a video that shows not only the RHP in action, but more ST6's mounted on the inside bottom of the hatch. The super-thin profile of the ST6 allows it to mount straight to the factory trim, eliminating the tedious process of cutting holes, inserting grommets, etc.

For installation, the pod wraps over and down into the top of the hatch where the glass meets the sheet metal. A factory "shelf" provides the support necessary to ensure a strong hold at the top, and super adhesive 3M brand body panel tape runs around the bottom and side edges of the pod, adhering to the vehicle hatch. Self-tapping screws are also provided.
