Other Alabama fleets making the switch to propane fuel through Alliance AutoGas include the Alabama State Docks, Baldwin EMC, the Department of Agriculture & Industries, the counties of Lee, Greenville, Pickens, and Greenwood, and the Vestavia Hills Police Department.
Propane autogas fleets currently pay around $1.25 per gallon less than gasoline, and many fleets report their vehicles require less maintenance. Autogas is 30% cleaner than gasoline, and 98% of the U.S. supply is made in America, according to Alliance Autogas.
