The NYPD released body camera footage Tuesday of a special operations horse-mounted police officer chasing a theft suspect through Times Square.

Police allege the 34-year-old man stole seven pairs of sunglasses from a vendor on Saturday night, reports PIX11. Police also say he swung a piece of broken glass toward the 60-year-old vendor in “a threatening manner.”

Body-worn camera video shows the officer say something to the alleged robber and point at him. The man fled on foot, but the officer and horse were hot on his trail. Nearby officers responded and helped take the man into custody.

The fleeing suspect was arrested and charged with robbery, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.
