Two Greenville, NC, police officers were dispatched Sunday over an owl in someone's home.

The department said on Facebook that the owl named "Steve" by the responding officers—Officer Hargett and Officer Eubanks—flew into the home through an open garage door.

Officer Hargett and Officer Eubanks were able to remove the owl from the home.

After the owl was checked out by Animal Protective Services, it was returned to the wild.
