Five citizens were rescued near Bloody Point in Queen Anne's County, MD, Saturday afternoon after a fire forced them off their craft.

According to the Bay Times, officers with the Maryland Natural Resources Police Department responded to calls of a boat fire and found that a civilian had pulled five people onto his own boat.

The Good Samaritan—whose name has not been revealed—led the victims of the fire onto the police patrol boat and then reportedly went on his way.
