Arkansas Officer Killed in Motel Shootout

Officer Kevin Collins was shot and killed. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 2:10 pm local time. Officer Raff Isaac was wounded. He is reportedly in stable condition with non-life-threatening wounds. The third officer involved in the shooting was not hit.

A suspect is in custody.

No details on the nature of the investigation or whether any other persons were injured in the shooting have been revealed. There are reports in local media of multiple wounded subject, but the information has not been confirmed.
