New Hampshire Woman Charged for Biting Officer During Arrest

A woman in New Hampshire allegedly bit an officer with the Lebanon (NH) Police Department as police were attempting to arrest her on an active warrant.

A woman in New Hampshire allegedly bit an officer with the Lebanon (NH) Police Department as police were attempting to arrest her on an active warrant.

According to WCAX-TV, police say the woman—identified as 24-year-old Angela Therrien—first attempted to swallow drugs she had on her person and as officers went to arrest her she then fled.

Following a short pursuit, officers on bike patrol were able to apprehend her. During the arrest, police say that she bit one of their fingers, causing minor injuries.
