Residents of midtown Atlanta joined together from their own homes in an echoing applause on Sunday night to show their support for first responders dealing with the Coronavirus.

Georgia Tech shared video of the moment on Facebook, saying "this was the sound in midtown Atlanta tonight at 8:00 p.m. Following the example of our friends in Italy, folks stepped out on their balconies to cheer for our first responders battling COVID-19."

In the video, cheers can be heard echoing among the buildings as people stand out on their balconies to join in. So far, the video has been viewed more than 28,000 times, SouthernThing.com reports.
