A deputy with the Georgetown County (SC) Sheriff's Office was injured in a bizarre incident in which his K-9 partner bit a cow, he TASERed his dog, and the cow then kicked the deputy.

According to WCBD-TV, the deputy had responded to a report of a burglary early Wednesday morning when his K-9 was distracted by a nearby cow. The dog bit the cow, spooking it. The dog would not obey commands to disengage, so the deputy deployed the TASER.

The disturbed bovine then kicked the deputy, causing minor injuries.
