An officer with the Dearborn (MI) Police Department helped a disoriented elderly woman get home from a gas station where she had locked her keys in her car in late August.

According to the Oakland Press, the woman told the officer that she had stopped at the gas station after being lost for several hours.

A local towing service unlocked the vehicle and the officer then received permission to help the woman get home by leading her in his patrol vehicle.
