A woman, a police officer and an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper are in the hospital after a standoff in Sulphur, Okla., Monday night, reports KWTV.
The woman was flown from Sulphur to OU Medical Center in serious condition. Sulphur police said they shot her after she fired first at officers and OHP troopers on the scene.
For about five hours, authorities tried to talk her out. But they said she fired first and hit a trooper in the leg. A Sulphur police officer was also struck in the back. Both are expected to survive their injuries.
