A drug task force director in Arkansas died as he chased a parolee from a Clarksville property Tuesday evening, reports the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Larry Johnson, 65, was the director of the Fifth Judicial Drug Task Force. Medical personnel said Johnson likely suffered a heart attack. The parolee was later apprehended, reports ODMP.
Clarksville Police Department Chief Greg Donaldson asked community members to "say a prayer for us as we struggle to come to terms with our loss."
