Glock donated $400,000 to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) in support of the development of the National Law Enforcement Museum.
The donation is the second installement of its committment to give $2 million to NLEOMF over five years. The donation was made at the National Law Enforcement Museum site in Washington, D.C.
The state-of-the-art institution will be located in the Judiciary Square neighborhood, adjacent to the existing National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. Building and exhibit designs are being finalized, while precious artifacts that reflect the work of law enforcement, past and present, are being collected. Scheduled to open in 2015, the National Law Enforcement Museum will be the world's most comprehensive museum focusing on law enforcement.
