Blackhawk
Blackhawk is showing its line of new Bear & Sons Cutlery licensed knives at the 2025 SHOT Show in Las Vegas.
One of the highlights of this year’s launch is the Sonar Button Automatic knife. Featuring a 2.5-inch blade crafted from premium D2 Tool Steel, this knife delivers outstanding edge retention, corrosion resistance, and wear durability, providing a balance between toughness and reliability. The blade deploys swiftly with a simple press of the button, while the black aluminum handle offers lightweight strength and is easy to clean and maintain. Measuring 7 inches overall, the Sonar is compact enough for portability yet robust enough for demanding tasks.
Also debuting at SHOT Show 2025 are the Officer Carry models, available in straight edge and serrated blade versions. Designed to be lighter and slimmer than traditional Blackhawk knives, these models fit well in duty pants and feature minimal snag points for easy carry. The D2 Tool Steel blade, with its Wharncliffe shape, ensures reinforced tip strength and precise, controlled cuts—especially useful in confined spaces. Equipped with thumb studs for smooth deployment and a secure slide lock, the Officer Carry knives offer dependable performance in critical situations. The aluminum handle combines durability with a lightweight design, providing a comfortable grip and effortless maintenance. A reversible pocket clip allows for versatile carry options, whether on a duty belt, in a pocket, or attached to a patrol vest.
Bear & Son Cutlery currently produces a selection of Blackhawk branded entry, survival, and cutting tools — some of which are made in the USA at the company's Jacksonville, Alabama, manufacturing facility. These Blackhawk licensed tools are currently available online and through Bear & Son's nationwide dealer network.
