Soltec Corp. has introduced the G100 and G120 high resolution, portable thermal imaging cameras (InfRec series), one of which offers a panoramic thermal image recording feature the company claims is a first.
The G120 features a panoramic thermal image recording mode that captures and stores the sequential images via panning. PC software then combines each image to create a full image of large areas or tall and wide objects, such as a bridge or multi-story building.
The images are designed for one-handed operation using the G100/G120's rotating monitor and a gun-grip design. A built-in target illuminator LED lamp and built-in laser pointer provides pinpoint measurement accuracy while ensuring safety.
It weighs in at 800 grams (or 1.76 pounds). Another feature included in the Model G120 is a vibration alarm for sites where an alarm sound may not be heard easily or discreet alarms are preferred.
The InfRec Thermo GEAR Models G100 and G120 simultaneously record and display fused visual and temperature data images. Visual and thermal images may also be displayed side-by-side.
