Pryme Radio has released the WTX-4100 Series of flexible platform microphones and PRYMEBLU Bluetooth adapters, the company announced.
The microphones are ruggedized, waterproof, and IP rated. The standard speaker microphone now includes a large push-to-talk button on the front for gloved hands. A remote wireless PTT mic has a handy finger button that can be attached almost anywhere during covert situations.
The GPS microphone features include an integrated modem to allow functionality as a remote speaker mic and a highly pinpointed GPS location device, multiple reporting modes to automatically send out your employee locations and tracking software.
The PRYMEBLU Bluetooth adapters are designed for use with Motorola radios. Adapters for other brands will be available soon. PRYMEBLU adapters can be used with standard off-the-shelf Bluetooth headsets and can remember paired connections when the radio is turned off.
They allow users to link multiple devices to a single headset, such as an officer's two-way radio and cell phone. If the radio device has priority, calls won't be missed. This never-miss-a-call feature also applies in the event of a headset link failure. Pryme's patent-pending Smart Switch feature ensures the device automatically reverts to normal radio operation.
