ZuluLog.com Introduces Aviation Software for Law Enforcement
The new service is built specifically for police and emergency response agencies, and allows tracking of all aspects of missions, pilots, aircraft, maintenance, and scheduling, as well as secure document management.
ZuluLog.com has released its new online software service that allows law enforcement agencies to track their aviation operations.
The new service is built specifically for police and emergency response agencies, and allows tracking of all aspects of missions, pilots, aircraft, maintenance, and scheduling, as well as secure document management.
"Most law enforcement agencies categorize their operations into various mission types, and our system can track and report on that easily," says Kelly J. Bonner, vice president of customer relations, in a release. "Also, agencies generally operate both rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft, and our software can analyze time based on category and class, as well as many other data fields."
Kelly continues, "Because our new software module is tailored specifically to agencies, our customers can easily track equipment such as night vision goggles and compliance with NVG currency, as well as use of FLIR, STABO, external loads, and many other specialized parameters such as mission results and mission requestors.
And because the software is Web based, our customers can benefit from our service immediately, and pilots can enter data from the office or from the field."
Both FAA and Transport Canada regulations are supported. Customers can also choose to commission custom development, for example to replicate existing paper reports or other documents, or to track compliance with special training or currency requirements.
Agencies have their choice of hosting options, depending on their requirements, policies and budgets. ZuluLog.com hosts most customer software deployments at a secure data center. Additional deployment options, such as dedicated servers and on-site hosting, are also available.
ZuluLog.com's cloud-based service is compatible with PC, Mac, Linux, iPhone, Android, iPad, and any other device with a secure Web browser.
