Louisiana Agency Deploys digiTicket eCitation System
The department, which polices a suburb of Baton Rouge, chose digiTicket because of its "superior user experience, ease of use, and Saltus' reputation for outstanding customer service," according to the company.
The Baker (La.) Police Department has successfully completed the deployment of digiTicket, a digital citation solution from Saltus Technologies.
The citation system enables officers to quickly create, record, and print digital tickets.
The department, which polices a suburb of Baton Rouge, chose digiTicket because of its "superior user experience, ease of use, and Saltus' reputation for outstanding customer service," according to the company.
The digiTicket system "provides a solid foundation for advanced ticket processing for our officers and court employees," said Baker Police Chief Mike Knaps. "The transition from handwritten tickets to electronic ticketing was simple and straightforward. The net result has been a reduction in handwriting errors and bottlenecks as well as reduced man hours to issue and process tickets in our RMS and court systems."
Saltus' digiTicket helps an angency "maximize officer efficiency and recover lost revenue due to the elimination of clerical errors," according to the company.
The system is in use in 11 states. It's already proven to be a key contributing factor in decreasing traffic accidents by over 10% while saving law enforcement agencies time and money.
