The DS-7000 Professional Dictation System is a portable recorder designed for professionals who rely on a secure, flexible, reliable product as an integral part of their office workflow, according to the company. The DS-7000 features an ergonomic slide switch, large LCD, real-time 128 and 256-bit file encryption, an independently housed microphone, enhanced battery life and next-generation Olympus Dictation Management Systems (ODMS) software.

The DS-7000's multiple recording formats support up to 10 authors and 20 work types. The DS-7000 can provide users with the Data Loss Prevention function, which means data on the device can be erased only by an approved officer.

The push-button DS-3500 Professional Dictation System is designed to dramatically increase efficiency and streamline operations in any professional environment, according to the company.

The DS-7000 and DS-3500 can be implemented seamlessly with any law enforcement office. Armed with either device, law enforcement agents are well equipped to more efficiently and securely gather evidence, investigate a crime scene or accident and share information as appropriate.

The recorders enable officers to take thorough notes, dictate action reports, and capture complete interview transcripts. In addition, officers will appreciate the SD card slot, optional external microphone, belt-clip carrying case, size of the devices and their compatibility with PCs.
