The Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Office has released "Implementing a Body-Worn Camera Program: Recommendations and Lessons Learned," a report that analyzes costs and benefits associated with its use. The Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) produced the report for the COPS Office, conducting research on the use of body-worn cameras, identifying promising practices and lessons learned, and producing a set of proposed guidelines.
